Privacy Policy
Uzere Community respects the privacy of every visitor, citizen and contributor who uses this portal.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to submit through registration, census, profile, feedback and content forms. This may include your name, contact details, date of birth, community, education, employment information, profile photograph and additional information you provide.
How information is used
Information is used to maintain the community census, improve planning, provide community information, manage accounts, publish approved content and communicate relevant updates. We do not sell personal information.
Public profile and contact choices
Only contact information you choose to make public may appear in public-facing areas. Administrators cannot turn a citizen’s private contact details into public information on that citizen’s behalf. Please provide accurate information and update it when it changes.
Cookies, analytics and notifications
Essential technical storage helps the portal function, including maintaining your sign-in session and saving privacy choices. Optional Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics cookies. Browser push notifications are enabled only when you grant browser permission; you can change that permission in your browser settings.
Sharing and security
Access to administrative information is limited to authorised administrators. We use reasonable safeguards to protect data, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the integrity and safety of the community portal.
Data retention and your choices
We retain information only for as long as it is useful for community records, legal obligations or legitimate administration. Registered citizens can update their profile information after signing in. For account, privacy or correction requests, contact contact@uzerecommunity.ng.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the portal develops. The latest version will always be published on this page.
